DHI-VTO1210C-X

The Dahua VTO1210C-X is an IP video intercom outdoor station with a stainless steel front panel suitable for an apartment building. The outdoor station features a color 1.3MP HD camera, 3 inch STN screen, numeric mechanical keyboard, a card reader and is connected using a network cable and power supply.

Features
The Dahua VTO1210C-X has a horizontal angle of view of 75 degrees and, thanks to the night vision function, gives clear images in the dark. The VTO1210C-X also has a quality microphone and speaker for an audio video conversation with an indoor monitor, the free Dahua smartphone app for iOS and Android or using the free SmartPSS software for Windows. With a microSD card in the indoor monitor, audio video messages can also be left by the visitor in case the call is not answered. The images from the camera in the outdoor station can be recorded 24/7 on an NVR or NAS.

The Dahua VTO1210C-X is made with a stainless steel fornt and has a mechanical numeric and illuminated keyboard that allows the selection of the apartment to be called. The Dahua VTO1210C-X has a 3 inch screen and a Mifare card reader. Doors can be opened with the card reader or a PIN code. For the issuing of personalized Mifare cards we recommend the Magicard printers included in the subcategory “ID card printers” under the category “Accessories”. Doors can also be opened remotely from the indoor monitor and app or with the SmartPSS Windows software.

200 Dahua intercom indoor monitors with a network cable connection can be used. Multiple indoor monitors per apartment is possible. The Dahua intercom switch VTNS1060A that can be used in this system has 6 ports and supplies some models Dahua indoor monitors with data signal and power. If more indoor monitors are required, several intercom switches can be linked together (cascading). The Dahua VTO1210C-X can not be connected to the VTNS1060A intercom switch.

2-wire system
The Dahua VTO1210C-X is also ideal to use together with the VTH5222CH apartment indoor monitors and the VTNS1006A-2 apartment intercom switch with two-wire connection. The 2-wire connection of the monitors to the VTNS1006A-2 switch makes this combination very suitable for replacing an old apartment bell or intercom system. The existing 2 wires can be reused for both the audio/video signal and the power supply of the monitors by the VTNS1006A-2 switch. The VTO1210C-X and the VTNS1006A-2 are connected to the network via a network cable. This makes upgrading from an old apartment bell intercom system to a new IP video intercom system simple, inexpensive and fast to realize.

Installation
The outdoor station can be flush mounted with the Dahua VTOB102 flush mounting box or surface mounted using the VTOB110. The VTO1210C-X is directly connected to the network (LAN) with a network cable. The network cable is not included. The VTO1210C-X requires a separate 12VDC/3A power supply that is not included. A suitable power supply, Mifare cards and the mounting boxes can be found under the “Related” tab.

The intercom system must be configured with a browser in a Windows operating system.
